Project Description
For Nike, we created a series of lifestyle stills featuring Jemimah Rodrigues, exploring the different sides of an athlete beyond the game. From training and yoga to music and relaxed everyday moments, the imagery brought together performance and personality in a natural, intimate setting.
Research
We explored lifestyle and athlete-led imagery that could move beyond traditional sports photography. The focus was on understanding Jemimah’s personality and finding everyday situations that could naturally coexist with her identity as an athlete.
Experiment
We experimented with a mix of movement, candid moments and quieter lifestyle frames. Training and yoga brought in the athletic side, while music, home settings and relaxed poses allowed the imagery to feel more personal and less like conventional sports advertising.
Refinement
We refined the series around moments that felt spontaneous and authentic rather than overly staged. The final selection balanced athleticism with personality, creating a visual narrative that showed the person behind the athlete while keeping Nike naturally present throughout.
